Mercury Blonde is a national touring Americana/Southern Rock band based in East Nashville, Tennessee. The band was formed back in 2017 where each member decided to make the move to music city to pursue a career in music.
Each member of the band is from the east and the mid-west area of the United States.
The band released their debut record “Left on Gallatin” back in 2018, where each song has its own meaning on how to approach certain life situations, past relationships, and sometimes the best course of action is to just runaway. The sounds of rocking slide guitar remind you of Derek Trucks, and the vocals give you the songwriting sense of Steve Earl. This record encompasses the sound of Mercury Blonde on how they take new sounds of Americana and mix sounds of old school rock n’roll.
The band has also toured across the state of Tennessee and throughout the south of the United States. They have played Red Gorilla Festival in Austin Texas, and performed on live radio for the Blue Plate Special in Knoxville Tennesee.
Mercury Blonde is fronted by lead vocalist Zach Sarapas, with Dan Wecht (lead guitar/vocals), Mario Galati (bass), and Tyler Peck (drums).
